Our film's synopsis by Stella

William Tate has it all. A nice house, an affluent lifestyle, a loving wife who neither knows or cares about where his more than comfortable income comes from, and a beautiful daughter. However, after a job that almost puts him and the rest of his gang in jail, William puts his place in the gang in jeopardy, which would seriously affect his family's financial income and lifestyle. Desperate to keep his wealth that both his wife and daughter rely on, William is prepared to go to any extreme to save his membership of the gang. Playing to his distress, his clique pose to him the ultimate challenge and sign of dedication, that will result in a hefty sum of money, which William undoubtedly accepts. The job in  question involves his pride and joy. His daughter, who he agrees to kidnap. Gradually the gang offer a higher and higher ransom for more extreme actions towards his daughter including mild torture. William is addicted to the thought of an increasingly high reward, but how far will he go?

  1. sorry, but not sure i get the synopsis. Who will pay the ransom - if its his own daughter, then surely, he is the one paying the ransom, so why would he kidnap her? Please put me out of my misery

  2. rude!! Ransom in this context refers to the reward the Father will get in regards to money, status & being able to remain in the gang. Basically, the gang are trying to see how far he will go for loyalty and a high status in society.
