- using totally black screen to enhance the stars names and the title of the film
- bold on title - to enhance
- sometimes the writings are overlapped - distortion and mystery
- all the fonts are like hand writing and not smooth - characteristic of detective
- they flicker and blur when the sound goes distorted - parallel to the sound
- and shaky all the time - creating mood
